1) Q. I would like to ask, is it true that muslims should leave a llttle bit of food at the end of their meal in the plate? I ask because there are some people who say that they should. However I always thought that leaving any food was not approved by our Prophet.

. You should not leave any food at the end. Up to the extent the Ahadith illustrate to us that we should clean the plates and lick our fingers when we finish eating. Yes the Scholars/Pious should leave some food so that the people can gain barakah by eating their food as was the practice of our Beloved Prophet SallAllaho Alaihi Wa Sallam. Wh...

2) Q. Qasar salaat - The distance of 57.5 miles given.
Does this mean if i travel to work 45miles each way i can pray qasar or does it have to be greater than 57.5miles each way
A
. A person will do Qasr [pray the four Rakat Fard Salah as two] if he travels to a distance which is more than 57.5 miles [92 km]. Thus in your situation, you will not do qasr but you will have to read the four rakat fully.
3) Q. How would one give fatiha? i know it involves 3 times surat fatiya and 3 times other surahs?
A
. There is no specific way to give Fatiha. Any part of the Qur`an you read can be read to send the Thawaab to the deceased.
However there is a psecific method passed down by our pious predecessors.

4) Q. Is it allowed to celebrate birthday`s in islam?

Muslims are not allowed to imitate the Non-Muslims. 5) Q. Can we eat lobsters?

. According to the Hanafi madh-hab, one is NOT allowed to eat lobsters, crabs etc.

Most of the young boys they have got beard some of them doing it in a fashion but some did NIYYAT for it as i did, but i have not got one fist beard but ALHUM DULILLAH i did NIYAAT so is it necessary to have a one fist beard(as said do things different as the others do) or u can keep ur moustache short so people can easily see the difference in a MUSLIM or Non-MUSLIM.

. There is no harm in taking a shower without covering your body as lond as you are inside the bathroom and so one can see you.
